None of those movies seem like very good choices to put yourself to sleep. icon_eek.gif

If you can't fall asleep, you should do something relaxing until you do feel sleepy. Don't read a super interesting book, don't watch an action film, don't surf RJ. Fold laundry, read a physics textbook, watch that weird channel where they sell crap, just don't do those things in bed. When you do get tired, get in bed and clear your mind and fall asleep. And if all else fails, take medicine for a night or two to establish a rhythm (if it is in fact due to a time change that you can't sleep [are we talking about daylight savings time? One hour throws you off that bad?]) and then you'll be right as rain again.

I'm with you Sprty_g, Every year at the spring and fall change of time I go through a week to ten days of not being able to get my body clock to switch without loss of sleep for days on end before finally getting used to the new time. The same thing happens when I return from an extended stay out on the west coast. Its hell !!! LOL !!!!

yeah the point of the time change is to give you an extra hour to sleep, the sky gets darker earlier to help tell your body to go to sleep earlier. I however work night shifts so all of this does not matter to me. I do say if you cant sleep good ole pain reliever with a sleep aid knocks you out.

Last night I was dragging by 10, but didn't make it into bed till midnight, so I fell right to sleep. Of course, the dogs don't understand the time change, so they started to stir a bit early, but lasted until my alarm went off, though I was pretty much awake by that point. I usually hit the snooze button a few times, but this time there wasn't much use in doing that.

    I read Anne Murray's autobiography.

KIDDING, I actually love Anne while others tell me to give my head a shake.

I heard that they are making a Canadian version of Mt Rushmore featuring Anne Murray, Michael J. Fox and Alan Thicke and Celine Dione.

And no Gretzky? Are they still upset that he left Edmonton?
