Well, I hope everyone had a good Halloween. That being said, it's over and we have officially entered the Christmas season. In the spirit of that time of year, post your favorite Christmas or holiday related song.

I'll start off with my with my two:

This album goes into heavy rotation for me shortly after Thanksgiving.

I'm not a scrooge, I just don't like how people get all freaking obsessed with Christmas. The fact that I've been able to walk into a store and buy Christmas decorations for just over a month now is wrong.

Im not ready for Christmas... well maybe I am... but all I want for christmas is my bf, myself, and our dog to be a family again. Things are kind of messed up right now but I just hope and pray they keep getting better.

Christmas is OK. I stopped buying gifts altogether when I was around 19 (as in, I buy absolutely, absolutely no one any gifts of any sort, I just found the tradition pointless from a very early age). You would think stripping the materialistic facet from the holiday would have infinitely enriched it for me (as many do bemoan materialism the folly of Christmas) but frankly all it boiled it down to was the caloric-rich food. I dunno maybe if I lived in a quaint oak-lined street that got blanketed with snow I'd get more into it.

Um, hello people! Don't forget Mariah Carey!

The video sucks, but whatever, I kind go nuts when this song comes on.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the only thing that makes it worthwhile to me is, grandkids, nephews and neices. if not for the kids and seeing family and friends it'd be worthless, and sometimes the family can make it trying indeed. guess its all about kids in the end.

Oh gosh, can we wait just 30 more days before we talk about Christmas? Let's enjoy fall, and harvest, and leaves, and cornucopias, and cool autumn breezes.

Any song from the Boyz II Men Christmas Interpretations CD. I wear that CD out every time during the holiday season. It's sort of a unintentional tradition that brings back so many good memories.

Granted The Waitresses did a much better job with "Christmas Wrapping," but alas I can't seem to find it on YouTube so this will have to do. This song totally sums up the holidays (and the rest of the year as well) for me.

Happy Holidays to everyone out there!

Am I the only Atheist here that does not celebrate Christmas due to the 'connections' that have been made between the Holiday and the Christian religion along with its many derivatives?
    -------------
I obviously stopped giving people gifts for Christmas also. When I was around 17~18. I met a Jehovah's Witness that set me straight. icon_wink.gif She was nice.
I also stopped saying 'bless you' after someone sneezes. Talk about pointless.

Agreed. At this rate, Christmas will begin on July 5 one of these days.

Oh man. I tend to go over board with the Christmas music. My ex wanted to shoot himself (which makes me think I should have only played more of it icon_twisted.gif ).

Would you settle for a crepe myrtle lined street that gets snow?
Which coincidentally is sorta ironic, since my street is named Peach Tree.
