lol well i have lived here my whole life and i have never even heard of anyone being 'gay bashed', the vast majority of people here are very tolerant of most things for example all polls done in resent years on gay marrage show that a large majority of irish people support gay marriage, and dublin rven has more gay people per capita than san francisco.

Granted its not quiet San Fran! But it certainly is a pretty gay friendly place - Down in the rural areas Gay hasnt quiet become common place - but then that happens everywhere in the world!

But as for gay bashing - there is no more here than in any city or country where scumbags reside. We still have a way to go - but its equal to any modern country these days.
