This is an awesome message. If they keep this tone, they will succeed. The minute Some militant gets put on TV saying that Conservatives and Republicans are stupid and should be "run off a cliff," the message of this beautiful commercial will be over shadowed.

People that are allowed to make their own decision, almost always make the right choice. When you get in their face, you get the defenses up and shut down any opportunity to teach.

    IMHO.

No they had it right. Mariage is fine. I'm not settling for anything less unless straight couples are.

Amen. I'm as deserving of that word as is anybody. Be my guest if second class treatment at first class prices is your gig.

Have you ever used the term "gay marriage?"

Straight people don't call it straight marriage, as it's just "marriage" to them, a religious interfusion, created for heterosexuals, and to give children of this marriage, the child it's fathers name.

So until the gays of America can move away from the religious term "marriage" Stop blaming the republicans for your failure to advance..

Marriage is for heterosexuals, and bisexuals. Civil Unions is for homosexuals, and lesbians, one that bisexuals will have access to as well.

But no matter whats it's called. I personally don't accept it, until it includes plural marriage.

TARGET THE YOUTH. It's almost a consensus that their mobilization was what propelled Obama, and their lack of motivation kept them from coming out in 2009 with the same percentages as in 2008. Here's a good, hopeful chart a friend just sent me. If only the dots on the left would just die off a little faster...

lol, Pattison, we got married, not 'gay married' just married. Sheesh.

This Imaginary scenario came to mind: A straight person may adopt, but a gay person must go and obtain civil guardianship, because they're gay and you're not allowed to call it or have it recognised as adoption.

southbeach1500Was great up until 0:52... then they used the word marriage.

Strategic mistake. Stick with civil unions.

New Jersey already has civil unions and they are an incredible non-issue, so the push is to take the final step. There's been talk all year that the marriage bill would go through the Assembly and Senate after the elections (the whole Assembly was just up) and that Corzine would sign it. That still seems quite likely, especially since he is now a lame duck and there is no chance of getting anything through under Christie.
