Has anyone here ever gone to a spa for a brazilian wax? I'm thinking about going.

If you have nerves that function properly, it should hurt. Have fun icon_biggrin.gif

I've been waxed down there several times, I've never had *everything* taken off, but close. The first few times is pretty painful... ok, HORRIFIC and FREAKISH!
However, after the first few times it gets easier and it's more like the snap of a rubber band when done right. I'm finishing up with my rounds of laser hair removal all around my bikini line, I'm very happy with the results. Looking forward to the permanence.

In my office building (which is a country club) there are 4 or 5 high end salons on the 3rd floor. I understand they do everything like that.
    I haven't asked many questions.....LOL

Hey I have chest abs sac and crack done regularly. A bit of pain but not unbearable. Great feeling when its all clean and tidy down there - well worth it. As for shaving... no way! Prickly stubble.. ewww

    Ummmm.... MOST PAINFUL EXPERIENCE EVER.

Seriously, I have a high pain threshold, but the area right between my balls and inner thigh was the most intense, excruciating thing I have ever felt in my entire life.

Maybe after a couple Vicodin and tequila shots I'd do it again, cuz it did look great!!

I've never had it done- but I have done it myself.
You can always try it out yourself before you dish out the cash for it.
Waxing is very messy but it is also pretty fun and relaxing.
An alternative to shaving would be depilatory creams/gels- they are really malodorous though and you can have an 'allergic reaction' to the stuff. Don't leave them on for too long.
Oh- don't go brazilian... it'll make you look like a prepubescent boy. Not very attractive.

    Here here!!!

Keeping things tidy is ok, but embrace your bush!

I go regularly - every 3 weeks. It certainly doesn't tickle, but the pain is worth it. I can't imagine taking a razor to my butthole. The salon I go to advises you do the following to minimize the negative effects:

•Avoid stimulants, coffee, cigarettes, caffeine, Allergy meds
•Take an Ibuprofen One hour before waxing
•Chew 3-4 Tumms to reduce the acidity of the body

It makes a difference when you do these things. I forgot once and it's a bit more painful. If you go to someone good, they will have you take a deep breath, then exhale as they remove the hair. He also has me use a product called Tend Skin afterward. Apply it 2-3 times a day after waxing. It eliminates irritation and ingrown hairs. It's amazing. Overall, the process isn't so bad. I will admit, the area when your dick meets your torso hurts the most, but again, it's worth it. When the hair grows back, it's not prickly like it is when you shave. It grows back softer. The pain gets easier the more you do it. Just do it. Don't be a pussy.

Hello my name is Marc and I have been doing male braziians for almost 2 years now and currently reside in madison, WI. I work at rz and company and would love to have anyone who's been curious. First timers are my speciality and I only use hard wax for the genitalia so it is much more gentle than your average wax. Feel free to call the salon you can contact us through www.rzco.com if you're interested as well!.
