Have any of you that have done P90X used resistance bands?
If so, did they offer a good workout? ...any recommendations or advice on what to look for when purchasing a set?
    Thanks!

No use free weights and a chip-up bar. Resistance bands are good for women and toning or mediocre workouts while one travels.

^ resistance bands are great for strengthening other joints and muscles that get neglected in other work out regimens.

But for P90x purposes it is not optimal.

I have been doing Lesmills.com body pump for over a year with great results and a lot of the exercises in body pump and boot camp are the same as the PX90 system. We have used the bands at the gym with the lesmills program...Val

P90X is a great workout. Really challenging. Best part of it is the diet program and cookbook. The bands are an excellent alternative if you travel a lot. So hard to count on a good hotel gym. The bands and DVDs help keep you on track regardless of what equipment of time is available.
