Can Working Out Wear You Out?

Well, uber overtiming can cause more damage then you really need to increase muscle mass. But that's like lifting so much weight that it causes bone fractures, generally the pain would stop you long before you cause irreversible damage. Unless your one of those "work through the pain" types to the extreme, I don't think a work out should hurt to the point of harm.

Of course I'm not a doctor, so disregard this if you have proof proving otherwise.
