Lucky Shirt
Nov 13, 2009 6:39 AM GMT
I responded to a forum about different kinds of t shirts yesterday and realized that I have two sleeveless "wifebeater" t shirts that are nearly twenty years old. They are for special occasions only because they are ancient and they look really good on me. One is incredibly thin and cut low, exposing lower pecs and ribs.
I've got shirts from all eras of my life that I refuse to throw away (workout shorts & bathing suits too).
Got any ancient or lucky article of clothing?

Any shirt would be lucky to have your body stuffed into it.

I recently cleaned out some closets and donated tons of cloths, shoes, coats etc, and ran across a few pairs of shorts and swim suits that were kinda vintage cool that I have drug around and never let go since my early 20's.
To my amazement the items that are from the waist or lower all still fit.
My upper body on the other hand has filled out more over the years at the gym and old suits and sport coats look as if they belong to someone else. No matter how quality they were,, they finally went bye bye and I gained lots of free space again.

I hold on to several A shirts that either came from visits to Palm Springs, or other beach places over the years. They all still fit, because I grew into them.

The one I regret I bought as a small, and no longer fits was from All American Boy on Castro. Since they are now closed, it does have sentimental value.
