Lets face it, it's so unlady like for them to do so anyway; it's the way it should be, next men will be wanting to put on a dress, and that so unmanly.

In Augusta, GA (the biggest city near where I grew up) it has been illegal since the 1880's to wear pants with five pockets on them (a direct stab at blue jeans).

It was publicly ignored as early as the first half of the 1800s, when Amantine Aurore Lucile Dupin, la Baronne Dudevant (son nom de plume était George Sand) wore her trousers all over Paris.

Ah, Red_Vespa. They just don't make names like that anymore.

BTW, I think George Sand was the nom de plume of Madame Dupin, not the other way around. Just sayin' :-)

Merde! C'est la conséquence d'essayer à boire et écrire en même temps.

Thank you for the correction, which I have edited into my previous post. icon_redface.gif
