In 2011. What do you think? Does this have anything to do with her coming out?

I'm going to miss seeing Oprah high five her guests and scream "Good for you!!!!" Yep... it'll be a sad day.

I bet tickets to the last show are a bitch to come by.

I may be one of the minority on this site but I will miss her show.

Admittedly, I have not watched as much in the last few years but the show was certainly informative as a young teen growing up. It introduced me to many different ideas, and perspectives that I would not have discovered living in such a conservative province.

Her cult-like holiness in later years was becoming annoying but still a good show and unarguably she is a world icon.

Gay? She's confident enough to say if she is and it would not wreak her ratings.

Oh NO! How will we know what books to read? Or what movies to see? How will we know how to change our lives? Who will tell us what to do, how to think, what is cool? Who will say, "I love that" and get countless sheep to buy that particular product? For a woman who said ".......stop me COLD from eating another burger" I suspect she's eating A LOT of something fattening. Telling us how to eat and how to lose weight. Yeah, right. A billion dollars, for chefs and trainers and she can't handle her own food intake problem. Why do the obese so often want to tell the rest of us how to live? Uh, Good bye!

i applaud her for the work that she has done in feminism during the recent decades. however, i do think that although there will be some "oppression to women" to still be dealt with, it seems that she has given justice to women by somehow making it ok to verbally abuse men, and to be selfish in the relationship.

so i think the feminism movement that Oprah has tried to push so hard for was not the equalisation of men and women. but more of "it's now the women's time to rule the world".

in saying that she has done many good. at the same time she has hypocracised herself many times.
its now her time to leave the spotlight of the talk show. whether its on a high or low is really in terms of taste to the individual.

i think her show needed to end just a couple of years back.

Well, when you are so out of ideas for something different for your show that you book the witch from Wasilla, I think that it's definitely time to call it quits.

I say Bull Shit! NO OPRAH! Who will I listen to, who will tell me what to read? Who will be the one to tell me what are America's best sandwich places? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Tyra Banks? Please.

Maybe the daytime TV audience would be better off without an all-knowing prophetess telling them what to think.

I think this comment is a bit COLD itself since she does have a thyroid problem that affects her body's ability to process foods properly. She's openly discussed this medical concern of hers that limits her ability to lose weight. Has her past conditioned the present? Maybe; maybe not. But I certainly don't believe we can judge her for something at this point in time that can only be controlled to a point.

Oprah Launches Own Reality
THE ONION

Flanked by three Gayles, Oprah harnesses the power of an unstable isotope on the set of her new universe.

(CHICAGO) - Calling it the next logical step in her celebrated career, and a groundbreaking achievement in applied quantum field theory, media giant Oprah Winfrey unveiled her latest project Monday: a completely separate realm of existence, known as OpraH, which she will control on the subatomic level.
