"Gay fanpires are sure to flock to New Moon, but with questions lingering about author Stephanie Meyer and the cash she gives to the Mormon Church, are we be better off tying a clove of garlic around our necks?"

Orson Scott Card is another one. A sci-fi author that wrote about gay relationships in a wonderful way...then came out swinging against gay marriage even talking about civil revolution if it was allowed and is, it turns out *drum roll* ....a mormon.

oh, let's just be really honest here:

the books are LAME. her moralizing about premarital sex is the underlying foundation for the entire fangless narrative. do you know why she's refusing to finish the series??? because stephen king said she's a bad writer... what an ass - she's going to let stephen king (another bad writer) ruin her horrible story arc?

give me a break. i read book 1 and got excited, but book 2 was not as good. book 3 i forced myself to finish... but book 4?? i got to page 50 and gave up.

if it weren't for cedric diggory being in the lead role this entire movie would be nothing.

She couldn't write a creative sentence to save her life if she had a gun at her head.

edward is such a pussy... "i don't want to hurt you! i can't control myself! oh my god, the angst of being 17 for 85 years!"

although on second thought... it i had been 17 years old since the onset of spanish flu, i'd probably be a pussy too.

Whats she does with her greenbacks is initially her right. She made it, and now she can spend it, however she wont's.

The wolves are out again, and how many gay Catholics give to their church. Now it's their cash and they can do with it as they please; but if they complain about the Mormons; would this not come under the banner of hypocrisy, but then many gay left can also be Pharisaical too; just saying.

The books are fucking trash and her moralizing is even grosser especially coming from a grossly over-weight Mormon-church supporter.

She appealed to a fantasy and got lucky with casting for the movies. Her books are trashier than taint hair.

The law also considered you a sexual deviant at one point for being attracted to other men.

Edward is much older than Bella. He was born in 1901.. But apparently the fantasy of an older man with a high school girl works for a lot of people.

Yes even in my lifetime the law was to consider one as being a sexual deviant for being sexually attracted to men, it was even a mental health issue too. Yet this never involved being sexually attached to children, and this law should still be in place to protect children, just because a child may have features of a growen up, doesn't make em one.

    I wouldn't call 17 child-aged.
Are you saying all the people who watch this series of vampire movies are pedophiles if they find Lautner shirtless hot?

Like I said. This movie is about an older guy with a high school girl, right?
Apparently people don't have problems fantasizing about that.

Orson Scott Card thinks that homosexuality should be illegal and that homosexuals should be forced in the closet so as to not trouble everyone with the knowledge of their existence.

He is a homophobe in the worst way.

No gay person should support this guy by buying his books icon_evil.gif
