Having some problems with RJ online?

I am, for the last few days, among them:

    - total service interruption, when the rest of my Internet access was unaffected
    - my newest posts appearing in the middle of a thread, with a time stamp hours earlier than I sent them. Then they've sorted in proper order next time I view them, with the correct time stamp. Viewed a 3rd time, and the time's jumped back again, the post once again far back in the thread order
    - today I kept getting ads appearing, when I have them blocked as a Supporter. I logged off and back on, and the ads were gone.
    - when it happened again, in the middle of a session, I saw I wasn't logged on. Well, I had been at first. So I signed back in, and the ads went away.

I doubt it's my browser, since this has never happened before with Safari in all the time I've been here. Anyone else experiencing odd things with RJ?

Edit: when I went to submit this, I got the sign in screen! But at the window top it still reads "Sign Out" which means I'm logged in, right? So it did it again. I hit my browser go-back button a couple of times to recover this message window. Now I'll copy & paste, sign in, and try to post again.

lol, it's happening when we post on topics. Click reply and it asks us to sign in. The second time all is OK.

Thanks for the prompt reply, guys, nice to know I'm not suffering from the effects of a bad hangover from last night. LOL!

    Hi guys,

Sorry about the interruptions today. We had a couple of disasters that I had to work through. Everything should be running more smoothly now. Let me know if you continue to experience any problems.

icon_wink.gif @ Chris of RealJock. Thanks, didn't want to ask for help; figured it a small glitch. Yesterday: locked out of our own topic, and it showed Mckeytoppogigo as the OP. Too funny, but just as sweet anyway. It self corrected in about 15 minutes.

We lost a cache server this morning and unfortunately the Man of the Day votes were stored on it so I'm sorry to say that the votes did reset. My apologies guys.

I blame the aliens. Or the NOM.

Same deal, only the aliens are nicer.

Thanks for your reply, Chris. I went to the forum first because I wasn't sure if the problem was isolated to me, before taking it to you directly. You beat me to it. icon_biggrin.gif

I just tried emailing Dante_Reflux and the system logged me out. I figured it was just RJ's way of trying to weed out contact with the undesireables. icon_razz.gif

But yeah, I did notice the various thread weirdnesses yesterday...I just thought I was undercaffeinated and imagining stuff.

I had a lot of problems with it since mid-week. RJ was crashing my Vista. It had become so bad that I stopped using my expensive desktop PC for RJ. Instead, I have been using my partner's Mac. Even then I had to shut off IM, some of my posts don't show up, emails don't delete or won't open, etc.

meninlove, when the time stamp thing happened to your thread, that's when I e-mailed Chris to report it. I'd also noticed profiles becoming unavailable at the same time (then reappearing).

WHat do Palin and Prejean have in common?

They both have fingers which smell of fish.
