I really love that black American producers, rappers, and singers are producing house music again and reclaiming what they invented 30 years ago (along with gay people). Although Janet Jackson has always leaned towards dance and house music anyway. =)

    love it. janet is great.

looking forward to the new tour and album next year.

regretably her last tour was cut short.

she looks better in her 40s than most people look in their 20s.... icon_eek.gificon_lol.gif

She is looking fantastic, she knows how to make a good video and she always seems to find great dancers.

And the sorta featured one with the shaved head is H-O-T!

Love the shoulder pads on the white outfit. Evidentally the 80s are back, along with the music... ;)

Seriously though, this sounds like the same stuff she's been releasing for years.

...and that is her appeal to her fans! Sheesh.
I've enjoyed some of her songs over her career, but I am not what you'd call a devoted fan of her any more than I am of Gaga, ColdPlay, NIN, etc, etc....

    BUT

Great song! I think it (working on a new album) is going to help her get over her grief for her brother. She is such a beautiful woman and I have a new appreciation for her after watching her with Robin Roberts recently.

On playing it again, without my Cockatoo squawking in the background this time, I swear the first few beats reminded me of this:

I still like Janet's song, though! LOL

It's ok. Maybe it will grow on me. Even the groups that I like I usually expect a little bit of growth and change after each album. Actually if she sounded more like the 80's Janet as a throwback that would be awesome.

It would have been kinda cool if she had a "break it down" kind of moment in this track.

I like this much better than what most of the gay bars play here in this area.

I felt the exact same way seeing this. I haven't been a big fan of her last couple albums, but this will make for a great comeback.

You took the words right out of my mouth. This is so true. If she had did the 80's sound with the breakdown, this would have rocked. Still love it though. I just Love Miss Jackson!!

I like Janet, can't wait to see her open the AMA 's Sunday. I've always liked her but haven't truly enjoyed an album of hers since the Velvet Rope.
