Lately Ive noticed a plethora of religious posts pertaining to God, Satan, Good, Evil, the Bible and what everyone believes in. So im trying to track down where this is all coming from, especially since they all came in a small wave. Does anybody have an idea where all these silly forums stemmed from??

Well, I can't be sure, but on this website, if you can't find anyone else to blame it's surely the fault of the republicans!

It's the Atheists. They're afraid they will miss something. Christmas is coming and they want to celebrate. They are just very confused people.

If I had to guess, I'd say the recent US state elections and the whole 'gay rights vs. organized religion' stirred the pot a little. Seems to happen every November, lately.

There seems to be a lot of interest lately in religious topics because on other sites I go on, too, there is a lot of religious threads and some of these sites are neither gay nor religious. But, these threads always result in fights. It seems like you can not bring up any religious topic without someone personally attacking you.

It isn't just gays who fight with one another over religion. Str8's fight with each other, too. But, I forgot. It's ok for str8's to be sinners as long as they are str8--just don't sin by being gay because that's an unforgiveable sin.

It's ok to spew all kinds of hate and have an affair and lie, and curse and be self centered and get drunk and yell at your kids etc. etc. etc. as long as you are not gay. Jesus will forgive all your sins, but just don't be gay because that is unforgiveable and they are going to hell. Laugh at this all you want, but this is the mentality of our world today.

Perhaps there are those out there who are freaking out now more than ever over death and dying due to the several recently-released movies all about death and hopelessness: aka: 4th Kind, Paranormal Activity, 2012.

Situations that are completely out of our hands, things that we have no control over and we are completely hopeless to our own cause. People are afraid to die, they are afraid of the unknown and what the future holds. I also think this is boiling down to what people believe and where they think they are going to end up in the end.

Just a guess....

why not? why all these forums for gay sex? just because your gay doesn't mean you have to be completely void of some kind of religious affiliation. studies show that people that are part of an organize religion are more likely to have fulfilled lives (:

not really, no!

coz some people who originate these wonderful threads, claim not to believe in the afterlife.

Disagree with that! My life is pretty fulfilling without god, jesus, alla, buddah, zues, poseidon, the devil, etc.

there are exceptions but like most studies, this would account for the vast majority. so save it (:

Oh woeful irony the thread that questions the proliferation of religious threads will itself be turned into one.

Because there is such a huge clash between the religious world and the gay world. We shouldn't have to forsake our faiths just to be who we are. But it's a struggle. If all would just realize it's ok to have your faith and be true to yourselves at the same time, there would not be all these posts, but everyone arrives to that conclusion in their own time. Until then, let's be supportive. We are family, Right?
