I just got this fabulous fixed gear this weekend, am SOOO excited to have a bike to ride around the city after my other one was stolen. It was built by a shop up in South Lake Tahoe.

I'm literally giddy over it! "Yay!"

Glad you're happy. Oddly, the frame reminds me of my Schwinn Paramount frame from 1962. Key elements are the seat stays with the angled cut where they join the down tube. Also the chromed ends of the chain stays and seat stays, and also the bottom of the fork legs.

Only a front center-pull brake? Is that enough?

The seat was a major selling point... who doesn't like tiger stripes?

I have a racing bike for speed, this one is a single speed is for riding around SF.

There's not many single speeds in SF because of the hills and most people need many gears to get up the hills, this bike was my [self] indoctrination as an ass kicking urban cyclist. It's a different kind of guy from racers... who are pretty awesome too. But I was always incredibly impressed by the bike messengers climbing the monster hills with tattooed calves, a single gear and a cigarette in their mouth... sooooo tough!
