i'm looking at snowshoes but for running.

I've looked (online) at the Atlas run snowshoes, the Tubbs Velocity, the Dion and the Crescent Moon Gold , all in the 180-200$ price range.

But i wonder if anyone knows of other good models to recommend, or any experience they've had with running snowshoes of any model ?

i'm leaning towards the Atlas, but willing to change my mind if good advice comes by.

    gracias,

Hmmm... I don't have any experience in that department, and it might be too specific for RJ.

Try the shoe forum on Runner's World.

Addendum: I just flipped through a catalog of winter running gear I got in the mail today, and they had these in there:

    STABILicers

I couldn't tell you how well they work though. icon_neutral.gif

    thanks for your reply ,

stablicers from what i see are simply a sole addition you step into, they prevent you from slipping on ice when walking on a sidewalk, driveway, etc.
i gave a smaller but similar model to my mom 3 years ago. she never used them, lol.

i know there are many on the site who run, many run in winter,
therefore some do run in snow.
    some might run in snowshoes.

    my logic is undeniable..lol
