Rujock saidWill watch this because I like watching the Guido train wrecks and admittedly some Guidos are hot to look at to me not the ones with spiky hair though Most of the Guidos on this part of the Jersey shore actually come from Staten Island.

The stereotype of guidos all over Jersey and the shore couldnt be further from the truth. Oh they do exist down there but the majority of Jersey beaches are guido free.

Unico National (Italian-American Organazation), wants this yanked off the air before it even premieres. I knew it was only a matter of time before mtv got like bet and started showing stereotypical programming.

Yeah, guidos tend to have some pretty tight bodies. But I don't dig the ones with spiked hair, fake tan, and lip gloss. Bleh.

MTV had a True Life episode a few years ago on the Jersey Shore. It was pretty interesting actually. I guess they decided to make it into a full series.

    Full video..

Top quotes from Jersey shore trailer:

"There's no way I'm going to Jersey without my mangel."

"I am like a praying mantis. After I have sex with a guy I will rip their head off."

"My abs are so ripped up it's called 'the situation.'"

"You can hate on me all you want to, but what can you possibly say to somebody who looks like Rambo, pretty much, without his shirt off?"

"I'm the Kim Kardashian of Staten Island, baby"

"I'm a bartender. I do, you know, great things."

Never in my 8 years of living and growing up in the Jersey Shore have I ever seen more than just a few "Guidos" down here. Yeah, we deal with all the bennies and shoobies that come down every summer, but never have I dealt with these kind of guys only but a few times.

Like Rujock said most of those people usually come from Staten Island and Northern NJ and the majority of the shore is free of them.

Every summer, for the past 5 years, I've lived with four of my best buds in one of their grandparent's beach house and I can say we've only ran into these kind of guys a few times (those few times them trying to pick a fight with us cuz they think they're the shit, so they think they kind do anything they want) but that's def not how us South Jersey folk are. We are definitely way better and more chill than those guys on the show who seem to be all spiked up with steroids and seem to want to pick a fight with everyone that gets too close.

It's a shame MTV is airing this... Its a bunch of bs.

Don't let that show get the least bit of ratings, because mtv will shove it down your throat 24/7

I don't know much about Jersey, but two things fascinate/puzzle me..

    - You can't pump your own gas.
    - You have to pay to go to the beach.

Can someone explain these things to me? icon_confused.gif

LOL this is funny and painful to watch, another reason to avoid watching MTV.icon_lol.gif

But yeah I have to agree, I've lived in NJ for 12 years and South Jersey/Jersey Shore fortunately the residents are not like this at all.

These guys are cute, except for their hair. Add a good ball-gag and they'll be perfection.

thats okay...Camaros are being made again

What is funny is that for a time period from say 92-97 the Guido basically became extinct in NJ sort of like the dinosaur. Grunge and alternative music ruled the airwaves and fashion and you could not find one Guido down the Jersey shore. But by 2000 they were back full force and much more metrosexual than the ones that existed in the 80s who didnt do the stupid guido fist pump, didnt shave their chest, didnt wax their eyebrows and didnt wear capri pants although those cavarrici pants werent too cool.
