Video of Supporters at Palin Book-signing turned into spoof ad (Funny/Scary)

I created this spoof ad using video from interviews originally shot November 20th at a Palin book-signing in Columbus, Ohio.

While there are uninformed Obama supporters that exist, Sarah Palin's public persona is anti-intellectual by definition and discourages substance and critical thought. It seems like sly winking is enough for many of her rabid supporters, whose conviction and fervor seem to be inversely proportional to their actual knowledge.

All this and she's "right across the street from Russia" and "compromise is for those who are wrong, if your right you don't have to compromise" LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such depth, if these people had any sense at all they'd be embarassed. Thanks for putting this up for us.

I think the people in that crowd are representative of conservatives in general. These are the people who kept Bush in the White House for eight years.

I like the crowd in the video above better than the one in fox's promotion of the book, it was a little bit more representative of her followers.

Well, this site is dedicated to squashing all thought that doesn't conform to established "gay standards" after all, so just wanted to give you another opportunity to prove it.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Come on buddy, are you telling me you support backing a person/cause with such flimsy reasoning? What isn't comforming here to "gay standards" is, no reasoning coming from these people backing Palin. So aren't you embarassed by the likes sence you lean toward Republican politics? wouldn't you rather have followers show some good reasons for their decisions? What are your standards if you would defend such ignorance?

"I reject the wholesale bashing of Sarah Palin, Republicans and Conservatives on here as "herd mentality" thinking."

Maybe Sarah, Republicans and Conservatives should remove the "Mock Me" signs taped to their backs.

I reject the wholesale bashing of Sarah Palin, Republicans and Conservatives on here as "herd mentality" thinking.

And I do not support either party.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>What do you expect ?? the groups your defending are pushing us (gays) into a corner, why aren't you in our corner. The woman Palin, stands for conservative party platforms that would take us back to the victorian era. Her followers would by their ignorance promote her to the presidency, You agree with her and her followers to your own demise.

    Props, bro! Great video!

The fact that the people in the video can vote scares me. But not as much as the fact that they can breed.

I'm not defending any particular group. But you honestly believe that all non-liberals, non-progressives, non-Democrats are like these people?

You (and the vocal majority on here) should engage more people in discussion and debate who are outside of the safe gay ghetto. Quite a surprise is awaiting you... most people are very much in the center.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We're only talking about the people with such opinions as are represented in the video, not moderates who would also more than likely be turned off by the above. I live in the south, in a very rural area, my eyes are wide open.

I refuse to believe any of these people were Buckeye’s, they all had to come from Michigan.

As a grown up Mich-e-gander who spent most of my youth in Ann Arbor and then went to a small college, (OSU) in a small central Ohio town, (Columbus)... I can attest that this is a rather good showing of the local population... icon_razz.gif

I'm no Palin supporter, but lets not be too quick to forget there were plenty of idiots in videos just like this for Obama. To think their are more idiots on one side of the isle than the other isn't reality.

Oh my god, Palin actually said that Canada needs to turn their health care system over to the private sector. Lord I hope they play that all over.

"Idiots" indeed exist in every political spectrum, but when one in particular outright discourages intellectualism for the sake of hamstrung fear and posturing, I think the proportions of idiocy -- or at least those who are driven by blind emotion rather than actual knowledge -- tend to shift.
