I need to mix it up and heard about the 5 x 5 program (5 sets, 5 reps).

Is anyone doing this? I cannot find anything solid online.

Curious as to how many days per week. Muscles focused on in each session and how many exercises.

Any advice would be well appreciated!

I did Stronglifts 5x5 for over a year. Stronglifts is great for someone just starting out - I had very good strength gains (currently 2x bodyweight max squat and 2.4x BW deadlift). For someone who already has a strength foundation, you might try Madcow 5x5 (Do a google search for it).

I did it on individual exercises especially benching. I usually would use it if I felt like I was plateauing, but I've never tried doing it for every exercise every workout. Not sure how effectively that would work.

Some people swear by MadCow's 5x5. I've used it but I didn't really care for it; I found that I missed doing some of the isolation lifts and that all the squats made my thighs wide. Probably decent for beginners to learn to lift and build strength, though.

I agree with UF. I tried a 5x5 program and quit after only a few weeks because I was bored as hell. I've seen better gains in strength and size with programs with greater variety (i.e. rep-set schemes, tempos, exercises).

How's it going. I've used the 5x5..it works. Use it for a few months...on every body part. You should see results.
    Keep lifting!

I did a 5x5 program several months ago. It was great for strength I found, and some muscle growth. After a few months though it stopped being effective, so I had to change it up.
