So This is a little bit of a weird topic, also looking to make the time go by faster, BUT i have a question for a lot of people. I know this can be a very subjective question and it will be very bias being that no women are on this website.

AND this is mostly aimed at college aged peoples.

Do you think women have it rougher than gay men in college?

What brought this on was i came across a rough video of straight porn (dont judge) and this poor girl was getting plowed by college boys.

This made me think of my experiences with my friends because I mostly hang out with women, I always considered them to have the easy route because they don't really have their lives threatened like gay men do, but in a way they do because they can't even walk alone home at night without fearing for their lives at times (gay men do too, but unless they see you holding someone's hand or something, they can't really do much because they don't know.)
and they usually are the targets at parties for any type of roofie.

I'm not a feminist at all. Personally for me, women want to be seen as equal to men, and i completely agree, but that means they also gotta register for the military, and all that jazz.

So yeah what are your thoughts? Do you think women have it rougher than gay men in college?

Nope, I have seen girls as the fairer sex get a lot more preferential treatment in Academia

I wouldn't conclude any real social observations from porn, it's just that porn icon_rolleyes.gif

Good points! Yes women do have it harder because of the societal expectations of a patriarchal society that we live in where they are seen as sex objects and are still treated unfairly. But gay men have it harder when it comes to having equal rights under the law which women do have even though men still make more income. Gay men are also subjugated to societal expectations that many are either still in the closet, aren't true to their own identity, and many face discrimination on all levels compared to straight women. In my opinion, it's a bit of yes and no.

Being a feminist isn't a bad thing. It just means your for equality between men and women. And women aren't registered because of women but because of society them. If your talking about rape, which is all too common on college campuses, (and not just with roofies) then yes, women have it harder. As far as acceptance, I think gays do. Of course women can also be gay so yeah...........
