So racy photos of start baseball player Grady Sizemore have made there way onto many internet sites. Here is the USA TODAY article which sums up the story thus far....

The photos are still readily available for viewing on the Internet on numerous sites. If you care to take a peek....Here is a link to one of them....

Also, there is at least one thread here on RJ that has the pictures posted already.

    My questions are:

    1. Is it realistic in this computer age to "recall" pictures that are circulating on the internet?

    2. Has it basically come down to the fact that a picture taken of anyone anywhere will become "public domain" if it is sent through email in this day in age?

    3. Is it possible that some of these pictures were used on alternative sites because my gosh a couple of them look so damn familiar?

    4. Lastly, and I know this is a stretch......but is it at all possible that this is a publicity stunt? After all, the pictures are not X rated..... I certainly have a lot more interest in the Cleveland Indians now than I did before I saw these pictures! icon_smile.gif

Personally, I don't think there is a chance in hell that these pictures can just "go away". What is done is is out there. People have them. I would say to Grady Sizemore, or anyone else who values his privacy.....
Do not take most of your clothes off, stand in front of a mirror, take pictures of yourself in semi compromising poses....and send your pictures through email.

PS....Grady, if you are out there among us....I have to tell you.
    You have a great butt.

    Your thoughts gentlemen?

    1) On the internet, this is called the Streisand Effect. Stupid celebrities and clueless lawyers only draw more attention to themselves, the more they try to suppress the issue.

    2) No such thing as privacy on the internet. Once you put it out there, it's out there. Also, someone could hack your email account and redistribute the contents, like in this case. My guess is that Sizemore's girlfriend had an easy password on her email account. It was probably "password". icon_lol.gif Also, if you're using an unsecured wifi connection, someone could intercept your data. Or if you're using file sharing programs and you unknowingly share the entire contents of your hard drive.

    3) I don't know what you're referring to. Elaborate?

    4) Yes. I think the whole Jamie Foxx thing was intentional. It was too much of a coincidence, that he had a new movie out around the same time. And I do suspect that the whole Kanye/Swift thing was a publicity stunt as well. The year before, it was Borat/Eminem.

Actually I was just kind of kidding about #3. But a couple of those pictures look like numerous others that you can find on sites like adam4adam. icon_biggrin.gif
