Please take a moment to remember those who have died and the thousands infected with this horrible disease.

We were suppose to have the first gay marriage of Buenos Aires here today, but that has since been postponed by a very catholic judge...until...a stalled bill in congress is passed! Again the catholic church is up to no good!!

We had a candlelight march here in Wilton Manors, Florida last night (Tue), and a gathering afterwards, with speeches and music. Among those attending were the incumbent first gay mayor of Broward County (county mayors are an atypical US office we have in Florida, Broward being the 17th largest county in the country), and assorted county & city commissioners and other officials and religious leaders from surrounding areas.

But no one from the state level, in this Red Republican state, no surprise to any of us. Our Democratic Member of Congress does attend these events when she can, but she was in DC yesterday.

A friend of ours was taking the official still photos, will share them here if he emails me some, as he often does.
