Before I go out in my garden and enjoy the sun and this day. I'll take a moment out to wish you all, many blessings.

During your winter up North, during those short dark cold windy days of your Winter ahead for you. I hope the sun of good fortune shines down on you all, and keeps shinning down on you during this time and keeps your souls worm, and too help you carry your dreams away.

Now it's time to get out in the sun. icon_razz.gif

Footnote: for those of you who do not know. Down here in Oz our seasons change at the start of the month, and not with the _____? As you Americans do near the end of the month.

Just don't forget your tents and a chair, as we have enough room in the back yard to put you all up.

Tomorrow is going to be 31C About 90F. I'm having the day off, so I can spend it in the garden, then have some cold ones.

6 am here, it's still dark, cold. Cars have mist on the windows, ( thank Jesus in heaven not ice yet.) 44` F. Gonna have to wear a jacket to work. Had an accident w/the grill last week. It's lived a long life and now we're gonna have to replace it this year. Lost all the leaves off of most of the trees a coupla weeks ago when the storm blew through. Still blowing down the streets in that fall way. Wondering if we're gonna get snow this year...

I remember spending Christmas in Milwaukee one year icon_sad.gif. And I stayed with my partners mother, and she lived on a corner, so I went and shoveled her two walkways; did not take me long to get over that, and all the stuff you had too do, just to get the car out of the driveway; to me this would be hell to do That everyday, just to go to work.

Yet down here for Christmas, it's shorts, longs days, and a siesta after lunch.

But this thread is not to rub it in your face, that it's summer down here. It's to wish you many blessing during your harsh cold winter.

Not even 7:00 AM yet, and it's already one big blue sky shinning down on me.

But we are already being told too expect the worst bush fires on record this year too, as if last year wasn't bad enough.
