OK SO... i've discovered that i am mostly attracted to the way a guy dresses and their personalities rather then body type. i believe you can make a person more or less appealing by the way they dress. i told a buddy this and he thought it was disgusting. lol

so what do you guys think? icon_question.gif

hot is hot, it's not a certain package.

if you find someone hot, for what ever reason, that's all that matters.

Personally I'm more attracted to whats happening inside of a guy and what he's like as a person, physical appearance isn't as absolutely important as it is for a lot of guys.

They are, but on this site, celebrating fitness is the cat's meow. There are more suitable sites online for appreciating the heavier male. I can point you in the right direction. I love a beefy arse.

I reject the premise. The fact is that they can.

And yes, I agree that the packaging can enhance (or diminish) the product within. I think what we wear is as much an expression of the way we feel about ourselves and the way we communicate. However, both are limited by the boundaries of our income and level of education. If someone has profound thoughts but doesn't bother with "correct" spelling, does that express that they are lazy, pay little attention to detail or don't even know what the "correct" spelling is. Aren't the profound thoughts enough to make them valuable people who merit our respect and attraction?

if someone's photos all show old jeans and stained cotton tees, maybe even ill-fitting, does that express that they are unconcerned with fashion, reject current trends or can't afford anything different. And if their clothes are beautiful, tailored, and well suited to their shape and coloring, does that make them worthier of our attraction and feelings?

I seem to have taken this off on a tangent. Apologies. icon_redface.gif

You seem to ask two questions in your original post....

FIrst, heavier men can be hot, but it depends on how heavy and how they carry the weight. Are they just "large and solid" or are they overweight?

Secondly, how someone dresses had MUCH to do with how attractive they are. I think thats just common sense. It can hinder or inhance. I always say that if someone is reasonably good looking, he can add to it and take himself to the next level. By contrast a really attractive guy can be cut several "rungs" by dressing either in an unattractive way..... or slobby.

Yeah, the definition of heavier would seem important to this topic. Many bears are heavier, and within the bear world can be considered more desirable and hot than slender guys. But grossly overweight and badly dressed considerably reduces any possibility of hotness.
