OH gawd those things freak me out, my trainer has'em I can't stand it when he wear'em, we've laid a rule (well I should say I did) he doesn't wear them during our seasons!

Don't people worry about dropping a weight or something on their foot while wearing them at the gym? Not that a shoe would prevent injuries, but it seems it has more protection than the Vibrams. I don't own a pair so I can't vouch one way or another. I would like a pair but will stick to shoes at the gym.icon_cool.gif

I have a pair for running; they are like running barefoot, but you don't have to worry about stepping on something sharp. They're good, but since you don't wear socks with them, if any sand or pebbles or anything gets in them, they are a real pain (I wore mine running from the street to the beach and back onto the street and got all kinds of blisters from the sand, d'oh!).
