Swallowing is what gave me the upper edge on competition.

I think it is ironic that most really wealthy people I know only consider themselves "just comfortable". LOL Poor little rich kids...

    Joe, not a millionaire, yet.

Didn't work out. The amount of incoming work was unpredictable and not steady enough to keep doing it. When I finally gave up on it, it was too late to find a steady job. Then I had to move back to Louisiana. Now I'm trying to get a fed job but the process is slow. If I had no sense of optimism, I woulda committed suicide already.

abm1985 THIS is why i think we're going to have a blast ;-) you get it!

I'm from Connecticut and this is so very true. In fact they are made very uncomfortable by the topic. After all, what better way to totally ruin your quality of life by inviting the wrong kind of people into your circle than to reveal your net worth ;-)

this is so not on topic.

this whole thread reminded me of a guy i dated a few times who would talk and flaunt his money but lived in the "ghetto" of newport beach CA. Veuve cliquot and fillet mignon were the choice words i heard a lot.

omg, so wrong for so many reasons now I think about it. he's a guy that does a lot of decent things for people, but man that attitude...phew.

    to the OP...

would think that no one would really honestly answer the affirmative if you asked them "oh did you just inherit your millions?"...
