Just curious. Why do some guys on this site fake their age. There are quite a few guys I've met on this site and after conversation they happen to mention they are older than their profile states. There is one profile in particular. This guy has a facinating body and is attractive as heck but states his age as 39 and he is really 43. WTF is that all about (only 4 years)? Is it if you are over 40 no one will find you or your bio attractive?? icon_rolleyes.gif

In time, all will be revealed (yes, even the answer to this easy question), but not now. It's part of my divine plan. I'll give you a hint though, it all started with "new math".

Ok, another question... Why do some use someone else's pict or a pict of them when they were 20 years younger? For me they are no question. I am who I portray myself as. Sooooo many difficult questions...

while i find nothing wrong in doing what one can to "rejuvenate" or look younger,
lying about one's age sounds so desperate.
Besides, between 39 and 43 not many changes occur.

maybe they thought everyone lied about there age by a few years online. some people don't really think it is important about what exact age you are.

Ater a while you forget how old you are.

Sucks, someone is always around to remind you.

I can think of no reason why I'd lie about my age.

Ok, we confess. We're really 26 year old chippendale gigolos - we photoshopped our pics so we'd look respectable n stuff. That not Bill's Mom he's standing beside, it's his trick- she's loaded. We're posting from her Yacht off the Florida coast.

age has little to do with how attractive anyone is. fear of rejection is all i can think of.

well for me in that instance... 39 and 43 doesnt seem like a 4 year difference

it feels like a HUGE difference. I dont know why but it is just how it sounds.

Its just saying if you wanna why something for 49.99 or 50 dollars. its basically the same but it sounds like huge difference.

maybe its just me...icon_sad.gif anywho I am 19 and proud of it hehe

50 and feeling good about it here.

I assume most lie because they want a chance to talk with younger guys. From what I have found age has little to do with connect with guys on here. I chatted with guys from 18 to 55 but get really turned off when they lie about their age or their photo.

I haven't been on this site for very long, just a few days. In this time I have met some really nice friendly guys. As stated in my previous post, I am 48 years old. However, I find it difficult to find guys around my own age who are interested in a genuine friendship/relationship. Therefore what to do?.....I wind up with 20 something college guys from UNLV....guys who just want to have sex...guys who can't get enough...."Ok Will, it's your turn to wear the handcuffs..." Sheeeesh.....icon_wink.gif

They obviously do it to get more attention, and it probably works. The real question is why do they want attention from people who will dismiss them in 4 years...

On a related note, I see some guys that have 99 years old as their age. I think that's a pretty humorous solution to the ageism that exists on most gay sites. icon_lol.gif

My guess was always because of advanced searches... in relation to profile age faking..

Someone aged 30 might search 22-39, etc. Many retards have their personal age filter, "It's okay, as long as he is under 40....". That is, until they see the pic! IF his body is that of a 25 year-old, it doesn't matter what year he was born, right?
But without the man faking his age, this retard would've never stumbled upon him... Self-promotion. Increased audience. More hookups.

Apparently the same thought process goes for penis size. Hence, why I never ask or answer that question. If you're going to lie, at least go metric so I have more trouble seeing through the lie. icon_smile.gif

I do that on another site, and I don't list my age on facebook. I just don't like everyone knowing my business. I usually lie about my day of birth by a few days on web sites because i hate the fact the website will have crucial information that other companies use to verify my identity. I was in finance for 10 yrs and I've seen how easy it is to impersonate someone as long as you have the right information. Oh, and of course I've had identity theft.

I never thought of that.....I guess it's a good thing that I sometimes use my maiden name icon_wink.gif

Because they live their life by Manhunt, Craigslist, and nightclub standards where anything over 30 is considered wasting away.

What I don't understand is people who put an age of 99 for their profiles. I see it all over. What is that supposed to mean?

I'm not really sure...I love it when I meet someone and when I tell them I'm 44, they about fall over. I like the positive reaction.

I think its probably because some of those guys that fudge their age are
concerned that those younger might disqualify them. I have to say that
if someone (here or anywhere else) limits the age or some other criteria,
.. its a huge turn off. Like.. I'm only interested in men in their 20's or I'm only interested in men in their 30's. I probably wouldn't be interested in them... at all.

I say, don't fall in the trap!
