Yep. I started in high school. This series has been going for a long time.

With the authors death I'm hoping it finally gets wrapped up soon.

Ya, I started those when I was 14.

I have the first 11 books.

Rand al'Thor, Moiraine Sedai, Egwene. Padan Fain...

Oh yes, I have way too much time wrapped up in these fictional people.

When Gathering Storm came out, I started reading the series from the begining. I figure, by the time I'm done, the last two books will have been published. Maybe. I'm already on Book 5 again. And now I'm dreaming about rescuing the Queen of Andor from the Forsaken Rahvin. dammit.

Glad to see there's a community of WoT fans here too. The Gathering Storm has reignited my love for the series, which somewhere around The Path of Daggers or Winter's Heart was really dragging. I'm grateful they finally ended that dreadful Faile captured by Shaido thread that was absolutely going nowhere. It almost seems like that was put in there to give Perrin something to do. Who else was rejoicing at Egwene's kickass awesomeness, or Verin's equally bad ass awesomeness, or Cadsuane's handling of Semirhage, or Elaida's fate? How about when Rand just balefired that castle?

As an aside, is there anyone who's thinking fondly of Galad? Or perhaps Gawyn or Logain or even Moridin?

Does anyone else completely love the Forsaken as I do? I think if I lived in the Age of Legends, i couldn't help myself from using Compulsion now and then ;)

I think a Warder bond would suffice for me.

Oh yes, especially when one book covered about 2 hours of time. I have Gathering Storm to read. Can't wait!

I thought he was Tuon's already... better not be too cavalier about that, Will. She might set her Deathwatch guards on you... you don't want to mess with those Ogier, not to mention the legions of damane...

Been an avid fan for years now.
The wrap up has been worth the wait.

Gotta say though, A Game of Thrones completely surpassed this series in my favor...
