Do I douche?

So how necessary is it if I am to bottom for a guy, that I douche before-hand? I've bottomed before and always make sure I am clean down there and good to go, but have never douched. Also, no top has ever suggested I should do it before or after the act. Therefore, I wonder if I even need to bother. Maybe I have a magically clean ass? haha. Any suggestions or experiences from other guys on the matter?

You have experience. Experience has shown you that it isn't necessary. Why are you doubting your own experience?

I don't really have doubts. I was just noticing douche ads on gay websites and I know that's what a lot of gay adult performers use before their scenes so I was wondering how prevalent a practice it actually is.

although I don't really have any need for it, I do before I bottom, it's relaxing knowing that your just perfectly clean and can be exciting doing the cleaning while thinking about whats gonna happen on that night...

Plus, there is nothing like a clean booty to make you feel all young and fresh again...

You may just be one of the lucky ones, until some day you give a guy a tootsie roll. Trust me, it is not a pleasant site or smell!

Rather than waste the money on some fancy contraption or the bottled crap at the store for smelly vags, look to see if you can find a plastic syringe. My boyfriend is a vet and easily has access to them. It has definitely come in handy in case of emergencies.

All in all, you know your body best. Some people just know when they are clean.

I guess it couldn't hurt to try. Maybe I'll even have fun with it.

A-ha. Well, that's different. Tanker makes a great point... even if you don't have to, it can be a pleasurable experience and a good "warm up". And knowing Tanker is clean inside makes it easier for me to throw him over the back of the sofa and... well, you get the idea.
