Thank goodness for skinny flight attendants. This guy is a person, a large person; he's not a possible safety hazard if the plane has to be evacuated , a gross inconvenience to flight staff, or a hassle to the guy next to him. He's a person; anyone in there could impede an evacuation, inconvenience staff, or be a hassle their travel partner. They aren't charged extra or harassed, bothered in any way. Like I've said before, if any group is tred upon without objection, no group is safe.

He's not just heavy, it looks like he's really tall as well.

Ouch. I'd believe that the desk crew would put him on the flight. Just to prove a point...

I was just about to say, shouldn't we be filing a human rights complaint against AmAir for their sadistic treatment of tall people? I've flown AmAir before and it's like having your knees beaten with a baseball bat!

Re: obese people flying. I believe Canada's supreme court ruled that one could not be charged for two seats when flying because you can't tell who has a medical condition and who just can't eat properly/doesn't exercise.

It's an optical illusion....take it from me. Ummmm, a large person can be the same height as you but appear taller when he sits down because he's sitting on stuff you don't possess. It be like if Timberoo sat on about 3 or 4 telephone books (or just my lap)....any questions?

Our observations: he's the only person that size on the flight we can see. Hardly an epidemic requiring extra seat charges due to loss of potential paying passengers because they can only fill the plane with half the number of paying customers.

AND...did anyone notice the row of empty seats behind him? How hard could it have been to let him use those, and alleviate any worries of safety?
