I have been wanting to get into boxing for a couple of years now. I have a background in wrestling and I have been interested in adding some boxing into my workouts. I know a lot of gyms offer a boxing-like cardio routine, sort of like tai bao. I want to learn how to really box.

Any suggestions on how to get started? Any advice on what to do/not do if you are starting out in boxing?

Also, I live in Los Angeles, so any advice specific to gyms/trainers in the area would be great as well.
