If anyone can suggest any great gyms for me to add to this database I'd appreciate it. It's all free so there's no charge for the gym ...they just have to be worthy of their free listing!

The Wichita YMCA's are top notch and certainly rank as some of the top YMCA facilities in the country.

The City of Alexandria, Virginia operates several gyms at city rec centers. These gyms are free for city residents.

I know of two of them. The Cora Kelly Center has a free weights, universal machine and a few cadio machines, and showers. The Willima Ramsey Center has machines only and is spic and span clean.

I figure you are probably talkin about the little guys but no matter what gym I am at I always end up back at World Gym because of their equipment. Their equipment is more specialized than any gym I have been too. My old one even had a machine that allowed you to do lunges. Squat rack attached on a slider. Donkey Press for calves (best for calves), independent hammer strength to mimic dumbbells. It also depends on the owner I guess. My permanent gym home.

Hi at last I've updated this...sorry it's taken so long but I've added over 4,000 gyms!

All the responses to this thread were from USA so here's the link to American gyms...

Have added individual world gyms as they've been nominated but not all of them as so far I've only added individual gyms that have had direct recommendations...keep the suggestions coming and many thanks.
