With the Christmas season, you hear so many stories about fights for parking spots, irritations, etc. So much the Christmas spirit!
Seriously, have you experienced, or seen anything unusual in recent years?

The last one I experienced was probably about 3 years ago. I had gone to Towne East (one of our local malls) with my cousin and his wife. We were waiting for a good parking place while the occupant backed out. Nobody was waiting there except for us... the former occupant left and we took the spot. As we got out another woman came by, flipped us off and told us she had been waiting for it (news to us). My cousin's wife, ,who normally is very controlled (she's a county commissioner in a rural county) looked at the woman and yelled, "back off broad".... I about died laughing.. It was

not in recent years, but I was followed very closely by a woman in her car... she was so determined to have my parking spot that she drove on my heels. when I finally got there, I just sat in my car and waited for her to drive away. she could have had it had she just offered to drive me to my car instead of trying to run me over on the way to it.

Back in college when I was working at a mall.. I was waiting for this person to back out and leave. It was obvious that I was waiting for the spot. And even had my turn signal on.

After the person pulled out and drove away, some lady on the opposite side zipped right in and snagged the spot. Maybe she was oblivious to my presence or maybe she was hoping I would let her have it. But xmas mall traffic was nutz and I was already running late for work. So I got out and walked up to her car, tapped on her window, and said that I was waiting for this parking spot.

She had the most horrified look on her face. As if I was a serial killer holding a chainsaw or something. I had to try not to laugh. She had her hands up and nervously nodded her head. I stepped back and she started her car. She drove away. icon_lol.gif
