Is it just me or does it make you want to melt whenever you see a guy posing with his dog or cat on his profile? It is such a turn on! I always say you can tell a good father by the way he treats his pets!icon_wink.gif

lol...hey now! I got two cats in my profile right now! Peg is the human equilivilant of 87 and sleeps 23 and 3/4ths hours a day and crabs whines and bitches in that sparse 15 minutes she's awake. Whitey is barely pushing her pre-teens and loves to run, jump, play and frollic frequently. Yep just lovin me sum cats.

But, if I had a dog, I'd get an Alaskan Huskie or Alaskan Malamute (sp?) in a second!

Yeah, well I didn't want to "out" them.
Actually, sometimes it's difficult to take a pic without a furball in the frame. Or to step on the scale alone.

I never thought of it before...but yes!

I have so many pictures of my puppy, Disko. I am sure the world would love to see more of her.

I think a man with a dog is hot. It also says something about them. Animal lover here.

would insert a photo of us, but I am not that savvy.

My profile pic shows me with one of my two dogs, Ethel the stout l'il beagle. I'll try to post one of my other pup soon, a black lab/Dalmatian mix named Marty. A beautiful dog.

Pictures involving me and dogs are anything but cute. I'm usually making a face because (a) the creature licked me, (b) it just stuck its nose in my crotch, (c) it smells funny, or (d) all of the above.

That said, I have a soft spot for pictures of OTHER guys with their animals. They are admirable people, because they surely have a higher tolerance of dog slobber than I do. icon_smile.gif

Dog slobber is ambrosial! Ethel will lick me literally for a half hour if I let her; then she'll run to the water dish to work up yet more saliva for another round.

My cat will lick my entire head very thoroughly while I'm lying in bed, if I let her. I think she thinks she's a dog. Either that, or she was a hairstylist in another life and is trying in vain to get rid of my bedhead...

    "slobbery velvet"

You simultaneously grossed me out beyond words and made me laugh harder than I've laughed in...well...hours. icon_eek.gif

And I might now have nightmares.

I just realized tabatha is in one of my private pics, But I dont think either of my kitties is in my regular pics. I also have a cat who will lick my whole head sometimes when I lay in bed, usually when I use a certain hair product that smells like oranges I will wake up to a sandpapery tongue grooming me. I swear tabatha had to once be a hair dresser because all she is always grooming the other cat who doesnt seem to ever groom her

I thought it was a hair product at first too, but if it is, she hasn't met a product she doesn't like! There have been many, many, many...

Does Tabitha do the adorable nose twitch??

My cat, Cleo, is a closet dog...she gets mad if I won't wrestle with her every morning, but then, as soon as the other cats come around she's all snooty and aloof like a normal cat.

My puppy, on the other hand, is just a bundle of dumb. He's a golden retreiver and he is currently sitting next to me staring at one of his front paws, like its presence has totally taken him by surprise. I predict in about 30 seconds he will start to chew on it...

    yep, there he goes...

it was calculated, zdrew...I tracked down your parents and held them hostage until they coughed up the downlow on your childhood.

wait till you see what else I have planned

    MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Tommyguns,

Goldens are great...I had a golden/collie mix some time ago..outlived his ordinary lifespan by a good five years. But he developed a "hot spot" from chewing on his paw at the end, and apparently both breeds--collies and goldens--are especially prone to this. Don't let it happen to yours...I used to distract him whenever I saw him chewing, even if it meant grabbing his snout to play with him. Anything to get his mind off the chewing.

Once they do develop a hot spot it almost never goes away.
