When she first came out I was not impressed. I figure she was just another manufactured pop artist with the same generic sound. But through the music she's put out and her performances and her impressive music background, I realized that she is immensly talented, both in music as well as performance. She says she's not attention seeking, but I think she really is a genius when it comes to promoting herself. People talk about her constantly because of the way she acts and the ever present hermaphrodite rumor (which she herself helps perpetuate. She's a fucking genius. And her music is just plain fun. I can count how many times I've listened to Bad Romance and sung along while driving to class.

I know...I feel like I am going through a musical "puberty" again with her. It's awesome and it helps me to rediscover...me....Like Madonna did way back when!

Lady Gaga reminds me of Prince, in that the whole…experience is almost too much to take in. There is the music, then there is the look/persona, followed by the performance. I was left going…WHOA! I thought “Just Dance” was boring, and could not understand why people cared about her. After watching her perform “Poker Face” on Ellen I had to admit that she is something special.
After years of plastic pop tarts, lip-syncing the songs that were written for them by other people, here comes Lady Gaga. Thank god!

    This gave me goosebumps.

I love how I was initially so hesitant to embrace her. But dammit, she ate my heart, she a-a-ate my heart.

Ya know what I just realized!

Lady Gaga has the Edward Scissorhands Effect.
So strange, yet with so much talent and lovable.

I was hesitant to embrace her, too. But I really like her. And I like that she has brought back the Grace Jones pushing the boundaries back to music. My favorite performance is Paparazzi performance from the MTV Awards with the blood.

Lady Gaga is awesome. Hate the nonsense rumors from people that caught the "ew she's weird gay bloody fashion man " bandwagon.
This 5 part video is great if anyone is interested in going a little more in depth into the mind of Gaga icon_cool.gif

I can't even imagine Britney Spears and the like having an intelligent interview like this.

Local radio interview (no great questions) but she explains her VMA performance:

over a year ago, i had read an interview with her and i remember liking her : writing her own stuff, enjoying the make-up and costumes, she knew what she wanted but was rather candid about it.
Now she's attained fame, visibility, fortune , the big machine is on the go.
But next year, or the one after , someone will pop up to upstage her, unless
she manages to reinvent herself, which is what madona was so good at.

Her music is commercial, predictable but somewhat catchy.
I don't think she's a genius music wise, but she's certainly a stage animal which might be what will save her.

She's like everything Madonna is times 1000. She oozes talent and is so incredibly unique that you can't not watch her meteoric rise in awe.

I had never thought of it before but the resemblance is kind of uncanny.

she's a 23 year old girl. she's using the "image" and "sex" to sell the product. most of the music buisness victims end up having their lives run by covert agencies any how. hooked onto drugs, their scheduals layed out for them, etc.... spears was a good example of that. by the time she was 14 disney and companies had her life planned out for her (even her later addictions). MTV is an MK-ULTRA brainwashing project.

When I watched the “Bad Romance” video, I thought she looked SOO much like Dale. But can Dale Bozzio be Lady Gaga?

I don’t know enough about Dale Bozzio to say for sure, but Lady Gaga is still impressive.

Her music is catchy and while her style is eccentric, I like how she can express herself!
