So I started taking pole dance recently and I'm sorta looking for advice from people who've taken it...so, anyone wanna offer something that might help?

My biggest problem is grip, not strength. My hands get a little sweaty and even with mighty grip I can't climb, but when I use gloves I'm fine.

Also, any of you guys get pole burn when you start? I have it on one foot, both thighs and the back of one leg (hook spin gone wrong). What did you do to soothe it? I tried aloe, but it didn't work so well for me...
