So it's in midway December when I go to my granny's backyard and catch something like 80 oranges per week. Good leg exercise! Obviously we eat it as whole but I always liked making the juice. I've learned that the flavonoids are in the white pulp so I try my best to eat it when I'm juicying the oranges. Surprisingly, ever since a book regarding medicinal eating suggesting warming up the juice to help from colds and flus (I have no idea if such things really work) a warmed up orange juice became a nice variant.

But aside all that I want to learn other variants, like blends and shakes, what goes with what and the like. I'm not interested in protein shakes because I'm not into it yet, I'm obliged to save as much as money as possible for colleage. So what I would like is what other fruits and vegetables go with orange.

Judging by my fruit juice in the fridge, oranges go well with strwaberries, bananas, kiwi, mangoes and pineapples.
Or go to your bookstore and buy a book on "Juicing". It would either be in the health or cookbook sections.

Here's one for you: chiles. Just be sure to use ones that aren't too hot like serrano so you don't cover up the sweetness of the fruit. It's amazing!
