    Send Christmas/seasonal cards?

    Put up a Christmas tree?

    Put up other decorations?

    Send gifts to friends/relatives?

    My answers are:

Yes, we send out about 100 cards.
Yes, we put up (and my partner decorates) a real Christmas tree.
Yes, my partner decorates a little more than just the tree.
Yes, we deliver small inexpensive gifts to friends. For relatives, I cop out and send flowers to the adults and money to the kids. It saves a lot of time shopping.

I'm trying to bring back the original Pagan celebrations of 12 days of feasts and orgies. *grin*

Our answers are normally all "yes" except to a tree this year, since he couldn't help with one. I would have gladly done the whole thing, but I think he doesn't totally trust my taste to agree with his, nor can he bare not to directly participate. So we can pass this year, we'll do twice as much next year.

BTW, we also send out nearly 100 cards, that he likewise wanted to skip this year, but I undertook to transfer his haphazard address lists to my computer to produce mailing labels. Not as personal as sending handwritten envelopes, nor correct etiquette, but neither of us can tolerate that much writing. Plus next year it'll be a much simpler operation, just corrections, new additions and push the button.

A few scant decorations around, but nothing else in the aforementioned list.

No cards, no tree, no decorations. I send gift cards to my nephew and mother and give them to a couple coworkers and that is it. My bf and I do not exchange gifts.

My partner does seasonal cards via mail. I get cards, each individualized to the person, but those I give in person, b/c I hate addressing.

We get a live tree and decorate it every year. I love the fresh smell, and the tree makes the season, for me.

I put up decorations last year inside. My partner won't let me do it again. LOL, apparently I have poor taste. So, now he does it the day after Thanksgiving, before I have a chance. He also puts up the LED lights on the outside of the house.

I don't really like the whole gift giving thing. I do it, b/c it would hurt my relatives feelings if I didn't, but it's more about seeing family for us, than the giving of the gifts.

well like I said in another topic, I don't really celebrate Christmas, but I love social events with food and drink. Last night, I went to a Christmas party at a gay friends house that was pretty fun. Good snacky food, drinks and lots of cute guys. They were marines, sailors, civilians, smart guys, funny guys, drunk guys, sober guys icon_lol.gif I love the diversity of my friends and meeting people.

This is one of the social times of year for me.

    Yes.

,,,and today we went to The Bombay Co. which is still alive and well in Canada after two gay men bought the Canadian division a few years ago.
Bought all kinds of interesting and curious gifts.
    WOW!

We celebrated our first set of vows on the beach together 20 years ago today.
We now have a mahogany, black-velvet lined box with 2 sets of flatware. We explained what it was all for and the staff descended on us. lol, they gave us 50% off on it all then discounted it another 30%. *BLUSH*

Seems like a lot of Scrooge's on Real Jock...

I like to dive right into the Christmas spirit. I like the music, the festivities, celebrting with friends and family.

So yeah, I put up a real tree this year, which my boyfriend decorated, put a real wreath on my door. Normally I decorate the outside of the house but I'm in the process of selling it so didn't bother with that this year. This weekend, I celebrated Christmas with my boyfriend, which was amazing (he leaves on Wednesday and won't return for 4 weeks so we celebrated early), our second Christmas together :-)

My siblings and I draw names and exchange gifts that way and then we give and receive gifts to our parents.

I also send Christmas cards but will be sending a lot of ecards this year.
