Gay Marriage Hits Home For NY Senator Carl Kruger

    [QUOTE]

After the protest, organizer Corey Johnson addressed the senator in a post on his own Facebook page: “We’re not going to leave you alone Carl. You came into our homes with your vote—it’s time for us to continue to go to your house until you do the right thing.”

Local Senator Bill Stachowski (D-Douchebag) voted against it and we have had two rallies protesting him... in Senator Antoine Thompson's district.

Activists can be so dim sometimes.

This is great. Last week, I just wondering if it was possible to get the addresses of federal senators so that we could protest in front of thier homes and then I see this today.... icon_smile.gif

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Now I hope this translates into election defeats for these Benedict Arnolds.

So what's with the "OUT of the CLOSET, Kruger" signs?

If you've seen the movie OUTRAGE(or paid attention otherwise) you know it's not uncommon for closetted gay legislators to vote against gay rights, probably to camouflage their uncomfortable private lives.

Any evidence of that with Kruger?

Yea I like this. I would have to see some proof that he voted no first or at least a quote of him saying so. I dont just jump on a bandwagon to make someones life miserable for no reason, i have to see proof.

The man is a piece of shit and his vote was well publicized in the local press. You can take a look at the roll call here.

Girls, just because he is a sworn bachelor and he is oh.....I dunno.....past his expiration date.....does not mean he is gay!

Case in point, no gay man would ever wear a tie that wide in this day and age!

Yes, make a nuisance of yourselves in the neighborhood and piss off all the neighbors who had nothing to do with the vote. Yep, that'll win friends and influence votes are way icon_rolleyes.gifAm I the only one who thinks this just isn't the way to go about gaining acceptance?

Peaceful protesting and picketing are basically the cornerstones of free speech. If a neighbor would rather have a quiet street than the right for free speech, we are all screwed. There is no zoning ordinance for the power of free speech. This is democracy in action and in my opinion it would be un-american to wish it away.

I'm just making the point that pissing off the neighbors and making a nuisance, regardless of whether or not you have the right to do so, might not be the best way to get your point across IF you're trying to get people on your side.

How does one get people on your side? Homophobes deserve ridicule. Those who defend homophobes deserve ridicule. The neighbors should be mad at Kruger for being a piece of shit.

I hope they are mad at Kruger --- so picket his office, not a quiet neighborhood where people (and their families) are living who had absolutely nothing to do with this vote.

This would make way to much sense. Homos are completely disrespectful. Im actually pretty disappointed with those signs. If he is in the closet let hm be in the closet. its his choice no matter how fucked up it is.

If only all you gays would just be quiet and stop drawing attention to yourselves, everything would be fine for me... er, I mean you..

You gays make me feel so uncomfortable. You're so disrespectful. Can't I live in peace in my perfect little world with my perfect job and perfect fluffy dogs? Am I the only one who cares about me... er, I mean the way straight people feel about, ...er, I mean the best way to ensure that I'm, ...I mean, gay people are left alone just like I, ...I mean we want to be?

Sorry why can't any decent respectable homosexual have a lover, and go to work as a Republican, clock off and go back home to homosexual lover. I feel it a wonderful quality to be able too separate work from home life; unless you live on the land. This dose not make you a bad person, or a bad homosexual.

So just because you may have a homosexual republican, who may vote no to gay marriage, is his or her right, and this doesnt make them a self loathing homosexual either; they just may not of felt the term marriage should of been used, but another term; after all calling it gay marriage, and not just MARRIAGE, is giving it a different meaning, so why not a diffrent work too.

I know it would not be wise of me too judge all gay democrat from the few wicked hatful ones here at RJ. But I'm sorry you need to stop being so Pharisaical, and open your eyes to the truth and see the damage you too have done, and stop putting all the wrong in America on the Republicans, because the democrats have had a chance in the past 20 years to change things, yet they have made it worse, with things like DADT.

Anything can be published on the internet. I said, I would want to see some proof, not something that says so on the internet. Google is great, don't get me wrong, but everything on the internet isn't real. Like this funny video:

OH Max.... some things on the web are true. Try looking at the official sources or a number of reputable on line news papers.
