Who else is going? This will be my first Atlantis cruise-and on top of that I'm in the share program so I have no idea who I'll be rooming with.

    I've got my packing list:

Case of water (it's $5 a bottle on board).
Mardi Gras Beads and a mask
WAY too many pairs of speedos!
    Sarong
    an extra flask of rum
a small camera (instead of the large one I normally have) so I can carry it easily.
    plastic leis
Rainbow afro wig & other 70's attire I can find.
    camo shorts
    light/glow sticks
magnetic white board for cabin door

Anything else? A friend has suggested a 'take a number' dispenser and a 'now serving' number box on the white board-like I'll only serve one at a time! ;)

I've got a room in FLL on Saturday night and will cab it to the bars then out to the port on Sunday. Does anyone need a ride down to FLL from Central Florida? Lets chat!

Also-once on board Sunday I'll be with some other message board peeps in the Schooner Bar at 2pm to get acquainted.

I'm traveling alone but sure don't want to stay that way for long!

From the message I'm assuming you're planning on hooking up onboard.

    Condoms.

    Lube.

Lots of both, and please remember to play safe ;)

Passport, SetSail Pass, six-strip electrical outlet (especially if you have lots of things to charge at once), plastic garbage bag to pack wet stuff for your return trip, sling bag or similar for embakation and disembarkation day and alarm clock (there aren't any in the cabins),

Remember that your bags won't make it to your stateroom until the evening of embarkation day. SO, take that sling bag and fill it with the things you might need on Day 1 (swimsuit, change of clothes for dinner, toiletries, any medications, and yeah ... those condoms and lube, etc.).

Liberty OTS is an amazing ship with lots of passengers. If you want to save yourself some time later on, go straight to the things you have to sign up for once you're onboard. That means the Flowrider (especially) and the Spa services (if you want any). Again, that means carry on your swimsuit for your first few hours onboard. If you can get on the Flowrider on Day One, you'll get some practice in so that you can impress the boys later in the week.

One thing to remember ... turn off your cell once at sea. Liberty has a cell phone system that will connect you, but you'll be charged international roaming rates. If your phone says something akin to "Cellular at Sea", your calls will be about $10/minute. Shut it down and put it in your room safe.

    Above all, HAVE FUN!

    PSCalif has some great suggestions!

Having been on several Atlantis vacations myself, I also suggest that you bring 1-2 Costco-sized bottles of your favorite alcohol on board. They tell you not to, but they don't search most bags getting on the ship (which is kind of scary) so you should be good. Also bring some bottled water.

Once on board get the soda pass, which is about $50 for the week and gets you all the soda you can drink. Then simply fill an empty water bottle with your alcohol of choice and head to the bar for a soda or other mixer and you're all set.

Even if you're not a heavy drinker, this will save you significantly.

    Have a blast!

I've got the regular cruise stuff down-this will be my 5th cruise in 9 months but they were all straight cruises (I did mange to hookup on all but one!). This will be my 'Diamond' cruise on Royal Caribbean.

Has anyone else done the 'share' thing with Atlantis and if so-how did it go?

I love that the land-based Atlantis vacations are all-inclusive and all you have to worry about is what to wear and how much sunscreen to bring. No worrying about filling soda bottles with alcohol.

Fort Lauderdale is the yacht capital of America & have islets called Venice of America. The biggest cruise ships in the world dock here in our port! Ofcourse in Wilton Manors, as the capital in Fort Lauderdale has one of the biggest concentration of rainbow people in US, being in the Broward county ! Gay life is unparalleled here!

After a little touristic commercial break icon_biggrin.gif, I will go to that scandalous cruise one day, when I have the time. I know the Atlanteans in that sinful vessel make use of their total body in quite various ways. Oh, yes! I happened to watch some cam recordings without any......and was not surprised to say the least, at all!!! icon_lol.gif

Island House is much closer! While it's not 'all inclusive'-who needs to eat when your having that much fun and you can bring your own liquor! ;)

If you feel like getting creative, don't forget your cabin door decorations. It's kind of a fun thing to see the different creative ideas guys put into decorating their door.

I'm going to try. I'm getting a magnetic white board today and magnets. I just need some ideas on what to put on the board?

I wish they still made the Polaroid cameras with the instant pics. I might check out the new version where you print them. I can take pics of hot guys during the day-then invite them down to pick up their photos later! icon_cool.gif

Sounds like you're going on this cruise looking for trouble. You might want to hang one of those "Take-A-Number" machines on your door icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

And now you are the 3rd person to suggest that to me! icon_lol.gif My response stays the same: Like I'd only serve one at a time! icon_wink.gif

Trouble is in the eye of the beholder... but if you mean to make new friends and have all manner of fun then yeppers-I'm looking for trouble!

He found out last year that they wont allow all his "bfs" in his room for free. ... icon_rolleyes.gif ...and that boat and two bigger ones were already fully booked, so he would have to leave several hundred home. He was bummed! .... icon_evil.gif
