I found this clip looking for the theme after seeing avatar in 3d last night (awesome), and i'm totally smitten. Ahh youtube crushes. So is it just me, or is seeing a guy sing (especially when they are rather good) a major turn on. I think it has something to do with the confidence/power that comes with it, i dunno, thoughts?

In stars I'd have to say 4-4.5, easily one of the best movies I've seen this year, in 3d it was impressive, though i do think they need to work on the technology a bit, or else i need to go to a different cinema (first 3d movie, not sure of the standards), but it was very much as though they only intended you to look at one section of the screen and the rest was kinda out of focus, and there was some noticeable blur with the movement. But then when they showed the glowing seeds, or the insects that glowed and spun, WOW.

But yea, sing, and i'm weak at the knees.

I agree, some of the rack focus stuff toward the beginning was unnecessary. The usual practices of cinematography go out the window with 3-D. There's only so much our eyes can take in at once! The use of 3-D better accomplishes the goal of foreground blur, etc.

But some of the motion blur you noticed might have been the theater lacking the new digital projection tech.

    Oh, and:

Lol I know, there is another avatar topic, however to be fair, the OP is infact more about the GUY singing the avatar song than avatar itself.

The guy looks great singing that.

This is the same guy, and doesn't look quite so great. Maybe I'm just judging the song and not the guy.

I just think it was stupid for the movie producers to name the movie "Avatar". As many of us in the "Geek Guild" know, there is already an Avatar, with an "Avatar" movie coming out.

yeah agree..bad choice of song... he sings alright in 'I See You' but needs a little more power but I think he figured the male arrnagement by himself and he deserves kudos for that ^ ^
