I can't tell if it's my hair gel...or just that I need to trim my hair more often, but my hair just never ever does what I tell it to.

It has a mind of it's own and it's like wire. The cowlicks in back can be sticking up and I drench them in water and they're still sticking up...

What gels or hairstyles would anyone recommend for someone with "wirey" hair?!

This stuff is relatively cheap and is xtra firm hold - my hair is so thick, most products don't hold up all day like this does

    Calling all hair fairies.

I use shaving foam to eliminate the need for any hair gel.

I don't use hair gel. It makes the hair to hard and crispy. You could poke someone's eye out with it. Gel is so last decade! lol

I use a wax/pomade type of product Studio FX Surf Head. It holds very well and doesn't make the hair all crunchy!
