Oh staff, you are at your frankensteining again. Change it back. I liked scrolling the forums better when they just went straight down. Not being ungrateful; just letting you know because you usually just change weird things like that back anyway. Change it back.

I like it. Saves having to scroll to China and back ....
but I don't care for the fact that when you reply. you can't scroll down to remind yourself of something someone posted. icon_sad.gif

    Hi guys,

As was mentioned in a few previous posts, you can change your preferences to display "All" posts which will make the forums function like they did before.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the option. Loading all the posts in some monster thread on my weak laptop from school was a pain the ass.

Pages are MUCH better, especially when you have a thread where people post 17 thousand images and embedded videos. It was my biggest caveat when I joined this site.

Actually, I like this new setup. I hated scrolling on and on and on and on to get to the latest post.

I must be missing something, I don't see a change in the forum except that now when I reply, I can not scroll down to peruse the other comments any longer, I don't like that. I don't see any 'page' change, by setting the preference to 50 or 'all'. Maybe it's because I'm on a Mac.

I noticed the same thing on my Mac today, too. I preferred being able to scroll down from the reply box as I was writing, to refresh my memory with what others had said in that thread, and to copy & paste selections from them into my reply. Now I can't do that.

    Please change it back! icon_sad.gif

^go to your preferences in the gold toolbar at the top of your page right next to the RealJock logo. Click on preferences and then scroll down to REALJOCK FORUM PREFERENCES. God will appear and tell you what to do next, but the threads will be returned to how they were.

God apparently isn't speaking to me today. The only option I saw was how many forum posts to show per page, which does not address or fix the issue with the reply box I mentioned above.

Here's a workaround. When you reply to a thread or to another person's post, just open it in a new tab or window. Middle-click on the "Reply" or "Quote" button. Or right-click, and select Open Link In New Tab.

Yeah, I've already done that once today. I just prefer the easier solution of having the thread posts directly below the reply box.
