ACK! Why do I feel awkward?? I wanted it to be a surprise, but what if he hates flowers?? I didn't think of that until after I hung up the phone... How do you apologize for something like that, if need be? icon_confused.gif

    Devon,

I don't think anyone actually hates getting flowers. They either love flowers or they at least love the thoughtful gesture. The question is, what did you say on the card?

I agree with drypin. It's the feeling that somebody took the time and expense to send them to me that is awesome.

That said, I don't know who the "he" is, so it's tough to say if it was a good idea to send them. icon_smile.gif

You could always redeem yourself by giving him a blow job... icon_wink.gif
    Haha...

You are a silly man. He will be glad to have gotten them and even if he is not a fan of getting flowers, he will appreciate the jesture.

...if not, you could always say "they were for your mother bro". icon_cool.gif

good lord girl, every man loves flowers, even the hard arses who pretend they don't.

Sit down, be quiet, stop worrying and have some chocolate!

Then you've put your money to good use in finding this out. If it's just YOUR flowers he doesn't like, then I think it's not unreasonable to conclude that he doesn't like YOU. Important thing to know, wouldn't you agree?

But put your panic attack back in its box, the odds are on your side that all will be well, or even better than well. You will let us know afterwards, won't you?

Calm down...you're gonna get a call and its gonna be him telling you how much he loves them. Chances are that he'll be blushing at the other end of the line. Then...later in the day, he'll show you is appreciation in a more appropriate manner. No one hates flowers..at least no one who's semi human at least. How much he's into them though will depend on how mush he likes you. And judging from your profile and that i've seen of you in the posts, i don't see anything not to like. I anticipate good things coming out of this gesture.

    Bein a flower shop owner.....

You'll do just fine, Darlin. If he majorly hates it he will call the flower shop and send you a message of denial thru them. If that hasnt happened yet, then youre good.

oh, and to answer the question, "what did the card say?"

    ahem:

"i thought that this would be the perfect way to embarrass you in front of your employees.

    i miss your face,

    j."
