I like late winter for the snow.
I like late spring for the new growth everywhere and the light green of the trees.
I like midsummer for playing outside, swimming, and gardens.
I like fall for the wind, the colors and the ocean.

Although in South Florida the seasons barely change, the winter is a little cooler--75 degrees on average rather than 90 or so in the summer. So winter here is nicest.

Hey Benignfun, when I lived in Chicago I thought there were three seasons: Winter, Mud, Summer.

That said, May and October in Chicago (or here outside of Boston) are my favorites. May edges out over October for me because of the longer days.

Late spring/early summer, just when it's time to work on the garden again and it's warm enough to start walking to places instead of driving through sludge or rain. There's something really optimistic about that time of year ...

I've always liked spring..when the weather started getting warmer and the trees and the flowers started coming out again
but now I live in Florida and to find a season let alone spring down here you'd need a Huble telescope

I like a long, drawn-out autumn. I'm a gardening fanatic and I enjoy watching everything expire so dramatically. Of course, winter can be seven months long where I live, so I didn't choose that season.

I have always like the mid Spring and mid Fall here in TN. The temperatures are great and you just want to be outside. In fall, you get the added benefit of the leaves changing colors.

Definitely fall around where I live.

I love the changing leaves, the crisp clean air, and no humidity!

It just always gives me such a good feeling to walk through the city and see the leaves changing and smelling the clean air!

I have to agree with Jockdreams. Spring and fall are the best times of the year in Tennessee. Beautiful scenery and great weather to be outside in!

I like the sex time of year.

Love walking around, hearing the moans and screams.

    ...

Oh wait, I'm once again confusing that with zombie time.

    Anyways, both favorites of mine.

Definitely SPRING!!! It's a time of hope, summer dreams and rebirth. The warm sun shining on my face, the lengthening daylight and the first perennials poking out, make me giddy.

I'm a spring kind of guy. Particularly in locations with a substantial winter, the sudden new growth, temperatures getting warm enough to start spending more time outdoors while not yet being so warm that it's uncomfortable, the return of the migratory birds, the steadily lengthening periods of daylight, and humidity being non oppressive all combine nicely. I also like how it cools down enough at night to make you appreciate the sun during the day, but the sun's weak enough that you don't really have to worry about sunscreen.

Fall is also lovely in the north and east, but I suppose I just prefer the build up to the wind down...though, oddly, I do often enjoy the middle of winter more than the middle of summer...

I dunno why they call it "winter" here in the dustbin --November to February- when obviously it does not snow here. Oh wait --it does... at Ski Dubai-- all year round! LOL

Fall is my favourite for temperature, humidity, and the beginning of the holiday season. But, I have to admit that despite the heat and humidity, I love a Southern summer evening. To be able to walk outside and hear that symphony of crickets, cicadas and all other manner of insect and bug out there. Just kick back on the font porch with a cool glass of iced tea and listen.

Fall (Sept/Oct/Nov): School starts back up, college football, friday night high school football, NFL Monday Night football...oh, did I forget to say football? Oh,and the leaves changing. The end of summer and trick-o-treaters...got to love 'em. Thanksgiving: my favorite holiday and my birthday month. It's a Scorpio thing. What's not to love about Fall?
