Just curious.,....what is the highest amount of money you have spent on a pair of underwear/total for all underwear bought in a transaction? If not, what is the most you would ever spend?

I have spent $25 for a pair of sexy briefs in Austria.....the most I spent in a single transaction for underwear was $98.

I've spent way too much, especially having a special spot in my heart for Gregg Homme underwear. Its an addiction, but one of the better ones!

i think the more amusing question is; why do we as gay men spend $20, $30, or $40 on a pair of underwear that cost a few nickles or dimes in labor and for the raw resources?

Do you say "we" because you spend that much? How is underwear any different than any other article of clothing we purchase?

The most I've paid for a single pair is $41.00 and most expensive transaction would be $96.00 total, but I got seven pair.

I buy a lot of mine on freshpair.com. They have great deals and always have free shipping.

I love underwear and choose to spend money on it. I know it's not everyone's thing.

yes, i partake in this silliness from time to time. however, i can't justify spending > $50 on any clothing except extreme weather gear. underwear is the only thing i spent god awful ratios of money on. most of my jeans are actually given to me by other guys. i buy most of my own shirts for less than $50, and socks are simple low cuts, no $$$ brand name needed - just comfort.

i actually find a lot of really expensive clothing to be weirdly garish. i'm not one for bling either, so gaudiness is out :>

Sounds like me, for the most part, but I DO love my Diesel jeans and have too many pairs of them. And a few pairs of underwear that cost too much but that I love wearing.

Lol. I have already been shopping on my Swiss holiday. It is difficult to find Zimmerli briefs, etc. outside Switzerland. My favs start at around $100 U.S. Dollars. They go up to almost $200. On this trip I've spent around $1200 on underwear. The nads need silk guys. icon_exclaim.gif

I've spent at most like $20-25 on a single pair of boxers. I've probably spent $125-150 on a total purchase of several pairs.

Though now I'm jonesing for the American Eagle Outfitter low rise athletic trunks. Just bought 4 pairs of those the other day, only $30-something total. icon_smile.gif

I wont spend over $20 or $25. I usually order thru undergear. I like unico, 2xist and Calvin Klein. Ever since wearing these there is no going back to "regular" underwear, just cant do it.

I spent $25 once, and even that hurt a little bit. My boyfriend has worn them a few times and I think I've actually seen them on him for a total of 5 minutes. Why spend so much for something that is just going to get torn off right away?
