family season is ending, on to new year's resolution season.

so as a follow up to the past thanksgiving and christmas holidays, was wondering...

when you come home and your family first sees you, do they:

    a. say how much they missed you, that they're so happy to have you.
    b. comment on your weight gain or weight loss
    c. none of the above, you don't see your fam fam.

me, it's always, "hey, you're getting fatter!" gosh i love the way my parents show love. because the next thing is, "what do you want to eat when we get home from the airport?"

Always A. It's always about how long it's been since we've seen each other, how the trip was, what's new, love life, school/career, all that stuff. We're pretty non-judgemental.

So preempt their snarky comments ....

Walk in the door giv'em a hug and say
What, you haven't broken a hip yet? or The place is beautiful but what's that smell?
