Why don't people just tell you they are not interested in you and the reason why instead of beating around the bush? Are people really that immature?

Because they have no obligation to act in your interest or according to your wishes?

as sign of bad manners, I suppose. You can always tell the depth of someone's sincerity and humanity by their display of manners

i understand, it can be annoying... but to be truthful, when im not interested in a guy, i usually just stop responding to his calls or messages. it sounds cruel, but the guy gets the hint and gets over it fast. (i only do this if we have only been talking for like a week or two; if it has been longer then i usually do sit down and tell him)
when ur on the receiving end, its rough, but one day u wont be rejected and it will be awesome! icon_wink.gif

i've been contending with this for the last 2 weeks. i just, an hour ago actually, took the power back and ended the "conversation."

my friend jen says that men do this out of fear. i agree with her. but i think caz brings up a good point, and that's why i felt compelled to make a decision for him.
