I have this really nice pair of Chrome Hearts glasses (that I ended up buying because I accidentally put too much into my FSA one year, sigh, but hey, "free" nice glasses) and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them, but I find them much less pleasant to wear than contacts. The idea of the lens being that far from my eyes, it distorts my vision a bit and I feel kind of like I'm looking at the world through a fishbowl.
I've thought about getting the lenses replaced with non-prescription lenses so I can wear them with my contacts as an accessory, but I do wear them around the house for convenience (or when playing videogames that dry out my eyes too much to wear contacts.) Kind of silly, my household utility glasses are these uber-high-end frames, but then I never wear them out and about.
Anyway, yeah, I think nice glasses can really enhance a guy's look. Especially because if you're near-sighted (as most of us vision-impaired people in this computer-monitor age are) your glasses will amplify your eyes, make them look fuller.
