Its the weekend. The drama and excitement of NY Eve is over. Its the calm after the storm.

I like the day after a holdiay. People get together to chill and talk about their holiday expereinces.

Tonight I'm having dinner with a guy I used to date but now we are becoming just friends. Later, its a get together at a local pub for some laughs.

I had no plans and no date NY Eve and surprisingly, I enjoyed it a lot.

    What's going on with you?

I could have sworn I read another post by you where you stated you were supposed to be spending New Years Eve and Day wrapped in the arms of this guy you were seeing and making mad passionate love.
Was that all wishful thinking then ....

Had breakfast with the family. Taking my nephew and neice to NYC to see the tree at Rockefeller and then skating and then something to eat

Having a long lost friend over for dinner. Looking forward to that. Will include assorted horror movies (always the best "date" movies). Cooking most of the day, as I like to impress with my skillz in the kitchen. After all that, some Chimay and Oberon to loosen things up. icon_eek.gif

Our plans are to go to the First Friday art walk downtown, then see Avatar later. We'll see if our plans come to fruition; they didn't last night.

Oh my. Sounds like someone's having a fun night *grin*

Me, I'll be probably studying all night, with a break for dinner and a cup of tea.

Exciting, I know. Try not to be jealous.
